Hunter vs Final Round AI
Help during the interview, or practice before it? Two different tools for two different moments.

Final Round AI and Hunter both help with interviews, at different moments. Final Round AI is mainly a live interview assistant: its Interview CoPilot listens during a real interview and suggests answers in a private window. Hunter works before the interview. It finds jobs, applies after your review, builds a prep sheet for each interview, and lets you rehearse with an AI interviewer that ends with a scorecard. If you want help in the moment, Final Round is built for that. If you want to find the jobs and walk in prepared, Hunter is.

During vs before the interview
Final Round AI’s Interview CoPilot listens to your live interview and shows suggested answers “in a private window only you can see.” Its Stealth Mode is designed to keep that window out of screen shares and recordings in supported meeting apps. Final Round’s own FAQ notes that screen-capture protection “is not a guarantee,” and its Stealth Mode page suggests testing first and following any interview rules you’re given. If you consider a live assistant, check what your interviewer allows.
Hunter doesn’t run during real interviews. It helps you prepare, so the answers are yours when it counts.
Practicing
Hunter’s mock interviews let you pick the job, the interview type (recruiter screen, hiring manager, behavioral, skills, panel, executive, case or let Hunter pick) and the length, from 10 to 60 minutes. Answer by typing or out loud. You get a scorecard at the end, and strong answers can be saved to your experience bank. Hunter also builds a prep sheet with likely questions, your best stories and questions to ask.
Final Round AI offers a practice mode with 8 scenarios and automatic debriefs. Its site says practice interviews need a paid plan.

Recordings and privacy
Final Round AI’s FAQ says its desktop app automatically records session audio, with no on/off control for session recording. Its privacy policy says selected customer data may be used to train its AI models, with an opt-out.
Hunter keeps your profile, experience and mock interview history on your PC. Spoken answers are turned into text by Fetch’s speech engine on your own computer.
Price
Final Round AI shows different prices on different pages of its own site. Its pricing card lists a free plan and Pro from $25 a month, with no free trial for live sessions. Its subscription page lists plans billed every 2, 6 or 12 months. Check its site for current pricing.
Hunter is free during early access.
