Prep for interviews with your Fetch notes

How Hunter reads your Fetch meetings, read-only, to find wins and stories for your resume and interview prep, with your approval.

If you record meetings with Fetch, Hunter can dig through them for wins, projects and numbers you forgot to put on your resume. Turn it on in Settings > Connections under Fetch, then click Look in Fetch on the Experience bank page. Everything found is a suggestion until you approve it, and Hunter only ever reads Fetch, never changes it.

Because that’s where your work actually happens. “We shipped the new onboarding and cut drop-off by a third” is said out loud in a Tuesday stand-up, then never written down again. Hunter finds lines like that and turns them into resume-ready bullets, using only numbers that really appear in your notes.

How do I turn it on?

  1. Install and use Fetch on the same PC.
  2. In Hunter, open Settings > Connections and find Fetch. The status line shows whether Hunter found it.
  3. Tick Look through my Fetch meetings for experience and interview stories.

You can also do this during Hunter’s setup, on the Fetch step.

How do I review what it found?

  1. Open Experience bank and click Look in Fetch.
  2. When Hunter is done, a card says how many suggestions from your Fetch meetings it found. Click Review suggestions.
  3. Each suggestion comes with a short quote from the meeting as evidence. Keep the good ones and toss the rest.

Approved suggestions join your experience bank, ready for tailored resumes and prep sheets.

What does Hunter look for?

Concrete things you did, led, built, fixed or achieved, with specifics. It skips other people’s work, plans that hadn’t happened yet, and routine meeting chatter. Most meetings have nothing worth adding, and that’s fine. It’s a treasure hunt, not a guarantee.

What else does Fetch add?

Spoken answers. Mock interviews and Add by voice use Fetch’s on-PC speech engine, so with Fetch installed you can answer out loud (see Practice a mock interview).

Questions people ask

Can Hunter change anything in Fetch?

No. Hunter opens Fetch's meeting list in read-only mode, so nothing in Fetch can be changed from Hunter.

Do suggestions go straight onto my resume?

No. Everything Hunter finds is a suggestion until you approve it.

Do I need Fetch for spoken mock interviews?

Yes. Spoken answers use Fetch's speech engine. Hunter offers an Install Fetch button if it isn't on your PC.
