Build your experience bank
How to give Hunter your resume, LinkedIn profile, notes or spoken stories so it can write every resume from your real experience.
Your experience bank is everything Hunter knows about your work history, and it’s the only thing Hunter writes resumes from. Fill it by adding your resume (Word or PDF), your LinkedIn profile saved as a PDF, rough notes, or stories you say out loud. Then click Build from my inputs and Hunter sorts it all into jobs, results and skills.
How do I add my experience?
Open Experience bank in the sidebar. Along the top you’ll find:
- Add file: your resume as Word or PDF, or your LinkedIn profile PDF.
- Paste notes: a brain dump of projects, wins, numbers and tools. Rough is fine.
- Add by voice: talk through a project and Hunter writes it down. This uses Fetch’s speech engine, so Hunter offers to install Fetch if it isn’t on your PC.
- Add an entry: type in one job or project yourself.
- Look in Fetch: search your recorded meetings for wins you forgot (see Prep for interviews with your Fetch notes).
Then click Build from my inputs. Hunter reads everything and organizes it.

What are the questions Hunter asks?
After building, Hunter may say it has a few questions “to make your resume stronger.” They’re mostly about results and numbers, like how many, how much, or how fast. Click Answer questions and skip any you’d rather not answer. A resume with “cut onboarding time 40%” beats “improved onboarding” every day of the week.
What’s in the bank?
- What you gave Hunter: each file or note, with a word count and whether it’s been used yet.
- Your jobs and projects, each with dates and bullet points, and an Edit button.
- Your skills, with Edit skills.

Does the bank grow on its own?
A little, and only with your OK. Strong answers from mock interviews are added, and the scorecard tells you what was saved. Suggestions from Fetch meetings wait under Review suggestions until you approve them.
